Also in the video Joseph Shahda talks about an authentic Al Qaeda document written by a top Al Qaeda leader called “Saif Al Adel,” which proves once and for all that Al Qaeda terrorists led by Zarqawi came to Iraq before the war and established terrorist cells not only in Northern Iraq but also in the Sunni areas in central Iraq that are totally controlled by Saddam. This clearly indicates that although we do not have proof of an operational relationship between the Saddam regime and Al Qaeda, it is an absolute fact that Saddam's regime turned a blind eye on the Al Qaeda presence in Iraq, operating under the old saying “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
